“Great Pyramids”

On Hold

This 1970’s Piaget Tank is a work of art. In solid 18K gold, adorned with a “Clous De Paris” or hobnail finish across each case flank and on its dial, light dances off each hand finished pyramid like a show. This example is in beautiful condition and runs perfectly thanks to its hyper thin manual wind caliber 9P, once the thinnest in the world. It even has its original Piaget leather strap and buckle.

Measuring 30x22m, the rectangular case is a perfect size for any wrist circumference and thanks to the slender manual wind caliber inside, wearers can appreciate how it just melts away when worn.

Piaget as a brand has always stood for elegance and opulence yet never more than during the 60s through the 80s when the house opted to utilize exotic designs and wild stones like jade, onyx, lapis, malachite and more on their dials. This example, while not stone, offers insane value juxtaposed with bold aesthetics and mechanical function. If you’re looking for a solid gold “dress” watch to wear casually or on the red carpet, your search can end here with this stellar example.
