1950's Boucheron Reflet "Bing Crosby"
“Badda Bing”
A stunning 1950’s Boucheron Reflet in 18K yellow gold with incredible provenance: Given as a gift by the legendary Bing Crosby to his French agent, Edward. “A Edouard Merci Bercoup Bing” is beautifully hand engraved on the caseback. Crosby was known to give gifts bearing messages just like this.
Amazing provenance aside, this watch with its guilloché dial, applied indices and an Omega movement, it has everything one could want in a vintage Boucheron. While its caseback is not signed “Omega” is was not uncommon to find models like this housing their movements inside.
The case is full sized measuring 36mm x 23mm with modest wear and in overall amazing condition.
The Details:
Case is strong even with no evidence of polishing. Dial is mint. Case has light wear with a small indent below 5 o’clock and on the right case flank. Keeping time well and running great.
